Submit a bug report through Authura’s feedback portal with the right board, course tag, and report details

What You’ll Do

Submit a bug report to Authura’s Bug Bounty Program through the feedback portal.

You’ll create a post on the correct feedback board, describe the issue, and tag the course where you found the bug.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to the feedback portal at feedback.authura.com

  • An Authura account, or a Google account you can use to sign in

  • The name of the course you are currently enrolled in

Steps

  1. Go to feedback.authura.com.

  2. Review the three available feedback boards and select the one that best matches what you are reporting.

    Choosing the correct board helps route your report to the right place.

  3. Click Contribute to create a new post.

  4. Sign in when prompted.


    You can:

    • Sign in with your existing account

    • Create an account

    • Continue with Google

  5. Set a recognizable username using your real name.


    Use the recommended format:

    • First name + last initial

    • Example: James B.

  6. Enter a clear title for your report — your title should briefly identify the bug.


    Examples:

    • "Course progress does not update after completing a lesson"

    • "Playbook page remains blank after loading"

  7. In the main text box, describe the bug.


    Include:

    • What you were doing

    • What happened

    • What you expected to happen


    The more specific your description is, the easier it is for the team to investigate.

  8. Complete the required Select Course field.


    Choose the course you are currently enrolled in before submitting your report. This field is required and must be completed before the post can be submitted.

  9. Click Submit Post.

    Your bug report will be published to the selected feedback board.

What You Should See

After submitting, your report appears as a published post on the selected feedback board.

The post should display:

  • Your title

  • Your bug description

  • The course you selected

  • Your username

This confirms your bug report has been submitted successfully.

Common Issues

  • Posted on the wrong board


    Before submitting, confirm you selected the correct feedback board from the three available options. Posting on the wrong board may send your report to the wrong place.

  • Username is not recognizable


    Use your real name in the recommended format (first name plus last initial) so the team can identify and follow up on your report if needed.

  • Course not selected


    The Select Course field is required. Make sure you choose the course you are currently enrolled in before clicking Submit Post.
