What You’ll Do

You’ll activate your educator profile and complete the NILE Contract signing workflow in Authura.

This process enables educator publishing access and allows you to manage and publish Playbooks through the platform.

Before You Start

Before beginning the signing process, make sure you have:

  • Access to your Authura educator account

  • Completed educator account creation

  • The personal information required for the agreement signature process

  • Time to review and acknowledge the NILE Contract

Steps

  1. From the Authura home page, locate the Sign Your Contract section in the left sidebar.

  2. Select Sign now to begin the educator activation workflow.

  1. On the educator activation page, select the Set up my educator profile button

  1. Complete the four-stage signing workflow:

    • Overview

    • Terms

    • Agreement

    • Signature

Overview Stage

  1. Review the educator profile benefits shown on the Overview page.

  2. Select Continue to move to the next stage.

Terms Stage

  1. Review the educator publishing capabilities described in the Terms stage.

  2. Select Continue to proceed.

Agreement Stage

  1. Review the Educator Service Agreement carefully.

  2. Select the checkbox confirming that you have read and understood the agreement.

  3. Select the checkbox agreeing to the Educator Service Agreement terms and conditions.

  4. Select Continue to move to the Signature stage.

Important: Both agreement acknowledgment checkboxes must be selected before you can continue to the Signature stage.

Signature Stage

  1. Enter your required personal information, including:

  • Full legal name

  • Address

  • Any additional required agreement details

  1. Type your full name as your electronic signature.

  2. Enter the date and time associated with your electronic signature.

  3. Select the checkbox confirming that your electronic signature is legally binding.

  4. (Optional) Select the checkbox to receive a copy of the signed agreement by email.

  5. Select Sign my agreement to complete the process.

What You Should See

After submitting the agreement:

  • Your educator profile is activated

  • The NILE Contract is successfully signed and submitted

  • Educator publishing access is enabled for your account

You may also receive an emailed copy of the signed agreement if you selected that option during the Signature stage.

Common Issues

  • The required agreement acknowledgment checkboxes were not selected during the Agreement stage

  • Required personal information is incomplete during the Signature stage

  • The legally binding electronic signature confirmation checkbox was not selected
