What This Is

A Magic Link is a secure, one-time login link sent to your email address that allows you to access your Authura account without entering a password.

Authura uses passwordless authentication, which means you do not need to create, remember, or reset a password to access your account. Instead, you enter your email address and Authura sends a unique login link directly to your inbox.

Magic Links are used for both new account creation and returning account login. As long as you have access to the email address associated with your Authura account, you can use a Magic Link to access the platform.

Note: We do not require our users to create or remember passwords. Your email address is used to receive a login link whenever you need to access your account.

How It Works

When you want to access Authura, you enter your email address on the Log In page. Authura then sends a magic link to the email address associated with your account.

You open the email and select the Magic Link. Authura verifies the link and logs you in automatically without requiring a password.

Each Magic Link is unique to your account and intended for one-time use. To use a Magic Link, you must have access to the email account associated with your Authura account.

Magic Links remain active for 5 minutes. A countdown timer shows how much time remains before the link expires.

If the link expires before you use it, select Resend to request a new Magic Link. Requesting a new link is normal and supported, and you can request additional links whenever needed.

Example

Imagine you're returning to Authura to continue a Course.

Instead of entering a password, you enter your email address and select Log In.

A few moments later, you receive an email containing a Magic Link. After selecting the link, you're logged in automatically and can continue where you left off.

The same process is used when creating a new Authura account for the first time.

When to Use

You'll use a Magic Link whenever you need to:

  • Log in to an existing Authura account

  • Create a new Authura account

  • Access Authura without using a password

  • Request a new login link if a previous one has expired

A Magic Link is not a password, and it is not intended to be used indefinitely.

Each link is available for a limited time and expires after 5 minutes. If a link expires, simply request a new one and continue signing in.
