What You’ll Do

Learn how to navigate the Authura learner dashboard, find your Courses and Playbooks, manage your profile settings, and access key learning tools from one central location.

Before You Start

Before you begin:

  • Log in to your Authura learner account

  • Open the learner dashboard

  • Make sure you can access the left-side navigation menu

  • Confirm the main dashboard modules are visible

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard from the left navigation menu.

The Dashboard is your main starting point in Authura. From here, you can quickly navigate to key areas of the platform using the search bar and dashboard shortcuts.

Use the search bar to find content and navigate more efficiently, or continue through the dashboard to access learning and account-related areas.

Tip: Select the Dashboard icon at the top of the left navigation panel to collapse the sidebar. This creates more screen space and can make it easier to focus on dashboard content and learning materials.

  2. Review the quick-access buttons available on the Dashboard.

Depending on your account, you can quickly navigate to:

    • Analytics

    • Courses

    • Playbooks

    • Profile Settings

    • Account Settings

    • Dashboard Overview

  1. Select Analytics from the left navigation menu.

The Analytics section is designed to give you visibility into your learning journey in Authura. As analytics features become available, you'll be able to view insights related to your learning progress and activity over time.

At present, the page displays a message indicating that analytics features are coming soon.

  2. Open Courses to view your learning content.

The Courses section displays your enrolled or available Courses. You may also see information such as enrollment status and course end dates.

  3. Open Playbooks to access the Playbook Library.

The Playbooks section functions as a library where you can browse and preview available Playbooks.

Note: Courses and Playbooks are not the same thing. Courses organize your learning experience, while Playbooks contain the learning activities you complete as part of that learning experience.

  4. Expand Settings in the navigation menu.

    Settings contains two areas:

    • Profile – Manage your learner information and visibility details

    • Account – Manage account-related settings

  5. Review your Profile Checklist if it appears on your account.

New learner accounts may display a Profile Status card and Profile Checklist to help you complete your profile setup.

  6. Open Profile and update any incomplete information.

    The checklist may include:

    • Username

    • Education Level

    • Affiliation

    • Profile Photo

    • Date of Birth

    • Country

    • Gender

    • Bio

    • Websites

Completing these fields helps ensure your learner profile is fully configured.

  7. Access help when needed.

Select the Authura icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open the help and support widget.

What You Should See

You should be able to navigate confidently between:

  • Dashboard

  • Analytics

  • Courses

  • Playbooks

  • Settings

You should also know where to:

  • Find enrolled Courses

  • Browse Playbooks

  • Update profile information

  • Access account settings

  • Open the support widget

Unlike educator accounts, the learner dashboard is focused on accessing learning content, tracking personal information, and managing your learning experience rather than creating or managing Courses.

Common Issues

  • Some profile-related features may remain limited until the Profile Checklist is completed.

  • The Analytics section may currently display limited information while analytics features are still being developed.

  • Courses and Playbooks serve different purposes; Courses organize learning, while Playbooks contain learning activities.

  • Some Courses may display enrollment or access statuses before they become fully available.

  • The help and support widget opens from the Authura icon in the bottom-right corner, not from the main navigation menu.
