This allows you to participate in Minecraft Game Quests within Playbooks while enabling Authura to associate eligible gameplay activity, progress tracking, and learning analytics with your account.

What This Is

When you connect your Xbox account to Authura, you are linking the Xbox Live account you use for Minecraft with your Authura learner account.

This connection is required for Minecraft experiences that include Game Quests in a Playbook.

By linking your Xbox account, Authura can identify the correct Minecraft player and associate eligible gameplay activity, Quest progress, and learning analytics with your learner profile.

How It Works

Xbox account linking is managed from the Account section in Authura.

Learners sign in to Authura, open the Account page from the left navigation menu, and select the blue Connect Xbox button.

This opens a connection window where they enter the Microsoft email associated with their Xbox Live account.

Authura then verifies the connection and links the Xbox account to the learner profile. After a successful connection, Authura displays a confirmation notification and shows the connected Xbox username.

Important: The Microsoft email you enter must be the same email associated with your Xbox Live account. If you use a different Microsoft account, Authura may not be able to link the correct Xbox profile.

If you no longer want the connection, you can remove it at any time using the Disconnect option the Account section.

Example

For example, if you enroll in a Playbook that includes Minecraft Game Quests, connecting your Xbox account allows Authura to recognize your Minecraft activity and track your progress as you complete those Quests.

This enables eligible gameplay activity, Quest completion progress, and learning analytics to be associated with your learner profile.

When to Use

Connect your Xbox account before participating in Playbooks that include Minecraft Game Quests or other Minecraft experiences that require activity tracking, progress reporting, and learning analytics within Authura.

If you see your Xbox username in the Account section than your connection was successful.
