Overview

This guide walks you through connecting to our Overqualified server, compatible with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition across multiple platforms: Windows, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox. Please note that MacOS doesn't support Bedrock Edition, so this guide isn't applicable for Mac users.

Device Compatibility

  • Supported:

    • Platforms: Windows 10/11 (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition), iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series

  • Not Supported:

    • MacOS — the Bedrock version of Minecraft isn't available for macOS users

Step-by-Step Connection Instructions

For PC (Windows) Users:

  1. Launch Minecraft and ensure you select "Minecraft for Windows" (the Bedrock version).

  2. From the home screen, click Play.

  3. Navigate to the Servers tab at the top.

  4. Scroll and click Add Server.

  5. Input the following details:

    • Server Name: (Any display name you prefer—e.g., "Overqualified")

    • Server Address: play.overqualified.games

    • Port: 19132

  6. Click Save (or directly Play) to connect.


For Mobile, Console, and Tablet Users:

  1. Open Minecraft on your device (iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, or Xbox).

  2. From the home screen, tap Play.

  3. Go to the Servers tab and tap Add Server.

  4. Fill in the following:

    • Name: (Your chosen server name)

    • Address: play.overqualified.games

    • Port: 19132

  5. Tap Save (or Play) to join the server.

Additional Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you're using the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft—not the Java Edition (this applies only to Windows users).

  • Double-check you’ve entered the server address and port correctly, with no extra spaces or typos.

  • Device-specific notes:

    • Some consoles may require you to manually refresh the servers list before seeing yours.

    • On mobiles, ensure you're connected to a stable internet network and have the latest game version installed.

  • If you experience connection issues, try:

    • Restarting your device

    • Checking your internet connection

    • Verifying the server isn’t full or undergoing maintenance
